The Cambridge Diet


The Cambridge diet is substantially low in fat and calories and has been internationally acclaimed to shed unwanted body weight quickly and effectively. After only three weeks, cholesterol levels decreased by 21%, triglycerides reduced by 41% and serum lipids in hyperglycaemic patients were normalized. Mean weight loss ranged from 16 to 20 pounds after the four week period. Dehydration or cardiac dysfunction association with electrolyte depletion was not witnessed as the diet consisted of all the necessary minerals such as magnesium, sodium and potassium. Other side-effects such as headaches, dizziness, nausea or bloatiness were not encountered. Subsequent studies only served to reiterate these promising findings
