When trying to lose body fat, weight training is an important factor you need to consider. Lifting weights can help you burn calories during your workout and elevate your metabolism thereafter, so you will be able to burn calories even more and lose body fat for the rest of the day. Weight training can also help you pack in some muscle and more muscle mass means a higher basal metabolic rate (The amount of calories you burn while resting the whole day) as a result you are now better equipped to lose body fat even more.
2. Healthy Diet If you want to lose body fat, then a healthy diet is by far the most important thing to consider. First of all you need to drink enough water as your body needs a lot of it to function properly, it all depends on many factors but you should aim for at least 8 8-ounce glasses of water per day. In order to lose body fat, you need to eat fewer calories than you actually burn so the key here is to safely reduce your calories intake. Aerobic exercise is an important component of a balanced fitness program as researches shows that on top of being good for cardiovascular health, it can help you lose body fat as well. When performing Aerobic exercise, your body uses your oxygen intake to generate the energy you need for your workout. An exercise is considered Aerobic if performed generally at low or moderate levels of intensity for a long period of time with oxygen involved (example to that are bicycling , aerobic dance, running, jumping rope...). For best results you should consider at least 2 to 3 sessions of Aerobic exercise per week.
4. Stress Management Stress can cause you health problems and sabotage your progress when you try to lose body fat. When stressed, a lot of people tend to eat more, so keeping it stress free is the best way to go when trying to lose body fat.
